About Forebade
Forebade is a California-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit public benefit organization dedicated to creating equitable golfing opportunities in underserved urban communities. We recognize that golf can foster personal development, education, and social connection, yet access is often limited by cost and historical barriers.
Our mission is to break down these barriers. We provide quality golf equipment, accessible instruction, and create welcoming golf events for both youth and adults. Through our initiatives, we promote recreational enjoyment, support community building, and nurture lifelong skills in an inclusive environment. We believe everyone deserves a chance to experience, learn, and enjoy the game of golf.

Our Programs & Services
We offer a range of programs designed to grow golf access in urban communities, including equipment grants, instructional clinics, and inclusive golf events for youth and adults.
Golf Equipment Grants
We supply quality golf clubs, apparel, and gear to individuals and schools in underserved communities, eliminating barriers to entry for new players.
Instructional Clinics
Our certified instructors host skill-building clinics, empowering participants of all ages and abilities to learn the fundamentals and etiquette of golf.
Inclusive Golf Events
We organize regular community-focused golf outings, scrambles, and tournaments to foster friendship, recreation, and engagement among participants.
